DTWM 130: It’s All About Communication!

On the latest episode of Drink Til We’re Married Podcast, HeyCutie welcomes Derrick James back to the show. Of course he sat in the hot seat and after a little back and forth he made it. We shared our views on what it takes to have a successful relationship and it all comes back to communication. Derrick shares his things that make a relationship work and, you guessed it, they each take communicating and listening to your partner.

Of course we were drinking! Mr James made one of his famous “Basil Old Fashioned”. The recipe called for Larceny, Basil flavored simple syrup, maraschino cherry juice, and a cherry garnish.

One of our favorite reoccurring guests is back on the show discussing Men’s feelings.  HeyCutie and CKDub welcome back Larry Mims, aka No Limit Larry, to the show and believe me… the cup is NOT the problem. This conversation started from a post on @iamnolimitlarry’s page that stated “Just incase y’all forgot… Men can hurt, Men can have depression, Men can hold things in, Men go through hell, Men have to fight their own demons everyday and not break.  Why tf he gotta fight his woman too?”.
